Metro Recruits Riders to Test New Technology
The pilot program asks customers to test new fare payment system.

The Metro embraces new payment technology with a pilot program to kick off in the next few months.
Riders are being recruited to test out the payment system. Up to 3,000 riders will start testing the pilot program that launches in January and last about three months.
The next-generation system will allow new payment methods including paying fares using smartphones, watches, and contactless credit cards.
