Metro Weekend Delays: Reconstruction Starts Up Again
Three of the six lines will be affected thru Sunday, Jan. 4.

After a construction break for the holiday season, work on the Metrorail will begin again.
The $5.5 billion project will continue through Sunday, Jan. 4. The Orange, Blue, and SIlver lines will undergo joint elimination, emergency call box rehabilitation, and rail and fastener renewal between the Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory stations.
From 10 p.m. Friday to midnight Sunday, the Metrorail will operate on alternative schedules.

Red Line:
- Regular weekend schedule
Orange Line:

- Trains will operate every 24 minutes
Yellow Line:
- Regular weekend schedule (Huntington - Fort Totten)
Green Line:
- Regular weekend schedule
Blue Line:
- Trains will operate every 24 minutes
Silver Line:
- Trains will operate every 24 minutes
