Metrorail Schedule Changes Due to Rebuilding This Weekend
Two lines will experience service adjustments Nov. 7 to 9.

While the majority of metrorail lines will run as usual, two of the six will experience schedule changes this weekend.
As the reconstruction of the metrorail system continues, the Red Line and Green Line will operate on adjusted service.
The Orange, Yellow, Blue, and Silver lines, will run on the usual weekend schedules. The Yellow Line will run to and from Mt Vernon Square only.

From 10 p.m. Friday to midnight Sunday, the metrorail will experience the following changes:
Red Line

- Run every 16 minutes
Work being done: Rail tie and insulator renewal as well as joint elimination between Friendship Heights & Medical Center and Fort Totten & Takoma
Green Line
- Run every 20 minutes
Work being done: Rail tie, fastener, and insulator renewal as well as joint elimination between Prince George’s Plaza and Greenbelt
