New Ticket-Giving Automated Cameras Installed Across D.C.
Warning tickets will be distributed to lawbreaking drivers starting Nov. 3.

Beginning Monday, eight photo enforced locations will begin a trial period to protect pedestrians and other drivers.
The 30 day educational period will distribute warning citations for drivers who fail to obey the speed limit and stop signs starting Monday and ending Dec. 2.
“The deployment locations for the Photo Enforcement Units will be sites where speeding and pedestrian safety has been identified to be a problem,” the Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release.
