Pet Adoption Event and Dog Photo Exhibit in D.C.
Take home a new best friend after checking out fun canine candids Nov. 1!

Canines and felines are ready for their closeup at the D.C. pet adoption event!
The Washington Animal Rescue League will host an adoption event for dogs and cats of all ages from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Located at the Church of the Pilgrims, 2201 P Street NW, each pet has been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and evaluated by certified trainers.
Attendees can enjoy the dog photo exhibit Fetching Art: Murals, Graffiti & Man’s Best Friend by Pam Townsend as well. It features dogs in front of murals around D.C.

Townsend will be selling her two dog photo books for $10 at the event.

A is for Angel: A Dog Lover’s Guide to the Alphabet shows dogs with names beginning with each letter of the alphabet and their owners telling the story of them. The two-in-one flip book Brindled Beauties/Seeing Spots features man’s best friend in a new way by showcasing brindled dogs of all sizes.
