The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for help investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred when a stolen van struck a pedestrian. The accident occurred March 29 at 7th Street and Rhode Island Avenue, NW.  A stolen van struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. The van was recovered unoccupied the next day on the side of 1910 8th Street, NW. The van was stolen in the 3200 block of O Street. NW. Anybody with information is asked to call Detective Jeffrey Folts at 202-698-7426.
