Streetcar Pre-Revenue Operations Begin in D.C.
The service will not carry passengers during the pre-revenue phase.

Streetcars are being worked in as a transportation system in D.C.
Streetcars are being tested on the fixed tracks without passengers. This period is used to prep the system in order to be certified safe for passengers.

The proposed hours for the streetcar service include:
- Monday - Thursday: 6 a.m. - midnight
- Friday: 6 a.m. - 2 a.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. - 2 a.m.
- Sundays and Holidays: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Streetcars have not occupied D.C. in over 50 years. The anticipated streetcar network will have eight lines, serve all eight Wards, and make up 37 miles of lines.
