Leak Repair Temporarily Leaves 100 Glover Park Homes Without Water

Find out which homes are affected.

About 100 homes in Glover Park, just north of Georgetown, lost access to water around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, said DC Water.

But by 2:30 p.m. water service had been restored.

DC Water had to shut off a public water main, providing water to 100 homes, to repair a leak in a single, private water line, a DC Water spokeswoman said.

The homes affected were on 40th Street, NW, between Calvert and Bennet Streets, NW, DC Water said.
