When Will the Cold Weather Temperatures End?

Don't worry about that extra layer of clothing, D.C. Temperatures are expected to rise … a little.

Forecasters began warning D.C. of the extremely cold weather for the week of Jan. 4 last weekend — and wow, were they right!

The lower than normal temperatures in Georgetown are expected to rise over the freezing mark during the next week.

The Weather Channel reveals the high temperatures in fahrenheits from this past week:

  • Monday, 1/5: 36 degrees
  • Tuesday, 1/6: 24 degrees
  • Wednesday, 1/7: 15 degrees
  • Thursday, 1/8: 24 degrees
  • Friday, 1/9: 35 degrees (expected high temperature as of 11 a.m. Friday)

As predicted by The Weather Channel, here are the high temperatures in fahrenheits expected for the next week:

  • Saturday, 1/10: 25 degrees
  • Sunday, 1/11: 39 degrees
  • Monday, 1/12: 37 degrees
  • Tuesday, 1/13: 31 degrees
  • Wednesday, 1/14: 35 degrees
  • Thursday, 1/15: 38 degrees
  • Friday, 1/16: 38 degrees
