To compile its annual list of America’s Most Expensive ZIP Codes, Altos Research looks at median home price data for more than 29,500 ZIPs covering 95 percent of the U.S. population. Forbes takes that date and turns it into its annual “500 Most Expensive ZIP Codes” list.
