The White House went on lockdown Thursday afternoon, as President Barack Obama and his family were inside eating Thanksgiving dinner, after a man jumped the fence and was detained by secret service, according to multiple reports.
The man jumped the fence on the North Lawn, along Pennsylvania Ave., according to NBC News.
The suspect was quickly apprehended and “the situation was described as under control,” NBC News said.
