Woman Tackled, Arrested After Trying To Grab Baby From Stroller
The woman is in custody.

Police arrested a woman on an Orange Line Metro train Wednesday after she tried to steal a 2-year-old girl out of a stroller and was subsequently tackled by another passenger, according to Metro police.
The train was approaching Foggy Bottom, when the woman tried to grab the toddler from her stroller, Metro police spokeswoman Morgan Dye told Patch. Police got the call about the incident at 9:34 a.m.
A concerted effort among passengers was made to stop the abduction. One male passenger apprehended the woman until police arrived, Dye said. WJLA reported that the woman was tackled.
