This 1940s Cape Cod-style home was recently renovated with a "contemporary twist," according to its <a href="http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5018-V-St-NW-Washington-DC-20007/435544_zpid?utm_source=Patch&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=patch_georgetown&amp;cbsubdomain=georgetown#Patch" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Zillow listing</a>. It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, two fireplaces, a finished basement and a large backyard, the Zillow listing says.  The house at 5018 V St. NW is 1,860 square feet and the lot is 6,624 square feet.  The house last sold for $680,000 two years ago and has since had several updates, including new plumbing, electrical, furnace and gutters, the Zillow listing says.  Zillow predicts a 3.5 percent increase in value for this home by next year. The house will be open for showing from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
