Aventura Police Report 'Major' Traffic Delays
Aventura police were warning motorists to expect delays on Tuesday along busy Biscayne Boulevard.
AVENTURA, FL — Aventura police were warning motorists to expect delays on Tuesday along busy Biscayne Boulevard. The delays were around 203rd Street. Police blamed the problem on a railroad crossing issue.
"This is causing major delays in all directions," Sgt. Chris Goranitis of the Aventura Police Department told Patch on Tuesday afternoon.
Biscayne Boulevard is the most heavily traveled road in Aventura.

"FEC is aware of the problem and we will notify you as soon as traffic is back to normal," Goranitis said, referring to the Florida East Coast Railway.
