A 44-year-old BSO deputy allegedly stole action figures and DVDs from a Walmart on three separate occasions.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — A 13-year veteran of the Broward Sheriff's Office has been accused of brazenly shoplifting from a local Walmart in full uniform. Henry Guzman was charged Monday with three counts of misdemeanor theft and was to be suspended with pay pending the outcome of the case. Police said the 44-year-old deputy allegedly stole action figures and DVDs from the Walmart on three separate occasions.
"Absolutely no one is above the law," said Broward Sheriff Scott Israel in announcing the arrest. "His actions are disgraceful and in no way are a reflection of the good hardworking men and women of the Broward Sheriff's Office."
