Electrician Gunned Down In North Miami Beach
The electrician was shot and killed in an ambush-style attack early Tuesday morning in North Miami Beach.

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL — A man identified by news reports as an electrician was shot and killed in an ambush-style attack early Tuesday morning in North Miami Beach. Police said the incident occurred around 6 a.m. in the area of NE 21 Avenue and 163 Street. The victim was apparently shot during a failed robbery.
"It was a cowardly act. We think it's disgusting," Captain Juan Pinillos of the North Miami Beach Police Department told reporters.
CBS 4 Miami reported that the victim was an electrician who was with several coworkers when he was shot. The victim was believed to have been working on an apartment building that is under construction on a 164 Street.

"You're trying to earn a living out here and you're waiting to start your day and you're ambushed," Pinillos told reporters.

North Miami Beach police were asking for any video of the incident that may have been captured by passing motorists.
