Fire Breaks Out On Roof Of High-Rise

A two-alarm fire broke out on the roof of a Sunny Isles high-rise.

SUNNY ISLES, FL — A two-alarm fire broke out on the roof of a Sunny Isles high-rise early Sunday night, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The incident occurred in the 300 building of the Arlen House condominiums. It was not immediately clear what caused the fire but workers had been performing roof work in recent days.

Erika Benitez of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue told Patch there were no injuries as a result of the blaze.

Fire officials are looking into the possibility that the roof work caused the fire.
