North Miami Beach TD Bank Held Up

The FBI is searching for a lone bank robber who held up a TD Bank branch on Friday in North Miami Beach.

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FL — The FBI is searching for a lone bank robber who held up a TD Bank branch on Friday in North Miami Beach. It was the second Miami-Dade TD bank branch to be robbed in as many days. The branch is located at 1500 NE Miami Gardens Drive.

"The robber entered the bank and demanded money from an employee. There were customers in the bank at the time," according to Special Agent Michael D. Leverock and spokesman James P. Marshall of the FBI in Miami.

No one was injured.

On Thursday, a bandit dressed like the Invisible Man held up the TD branch at 11201 SW 40 Street in Miami. His face was bandaged with slits for his eyes and mouth. He was also wearing sunglasses.

The FBI also released a photograph of the suspect taken from Friday's robbery. The FBI would not say how much money was taken during either robbery.
