Sagemont Preparatory School® Donates 680 Pounds of Food For Holiday

Students at Sagemont Preparatory School® in Weston Donate More Than 680 Food Items to Harvest Drive Florida

Students at Sagemont Preparatory School in Weston recently donated more than 680 nonperishable food items to Harvest Drive Florida, a nonprofit that provides food and toiletries, as well as new and gently used essential clothing and household items to children and families who struggle to meet basic needs. For the past few weeks, students held a food drive to collect various nonperishable items for the organization, which will then be distributed to those in need.

In addition to the Harvest Drive donation, students also collected toys to benefit ChildNet, a nonprofit organization responsible for managing the local system of services and support for the communities' most vulnerable children. Students held a toy drive and collected brand-new toys for children and families supported by the nonprofit. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
