There is no out-of-pocket cost to be tested, Hillsborough County officials said. A doctor’s note or prescription is not required. Health insurance information is being collected in accordance with federal guidance; however, individuals will not be asked to pay a copay or deductible. Residents who do not have health insurance will still be tested.
Residents who want to be tested at these two locations can save time at the site by creating a user account online before arriving. Visit the online CDR HealthPro™ portal at patientportalfl.com. Click on the “Get Tested” button to pre-register and receive a patient ID and barcode via email or text message. This will expedite the check-in process at the testing site.
