Drive-Thru Vaccine Appointments For Veterans And Family Members
James A. Haley Veterans Affairs Hospital and the Florida Department of Health have partnered to administer vaccines to the community.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Vaccine appointments are extending to veterans outside the Veterans Affairs, and to the civilian community with a partnership between the Florida Department of Health and James A. Haley Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Vaccines will be provided by the Department of Health in Hillsborough County to administer vaccines to people who meet the below requirements:
- Community members who meet State of Florida Guidelines
- A veteran not currently enrolled (not currently a patient receiving care in the VA)
- A family member of any Veteran—patient of VA or not
- A family member of a VA employee
