Father, Son Killed In Riverview Murder-Suicide
Hillsborough County authorities have released information following the discovery of two bodies in a Riverview home on Monday.

RIVERVIEW, FL — A 63-year-old man and his 41-year-old son were found dead in a Riverview home Monday morning. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the deaths had been reclassified as a murder-suicide on Tuesday.
Deputies say Zoltan Ambrus, 63, of Riverview and his son, Tamas Ambrus, 41, of Port St. Lucie both “died as a result of a single gunshot wound to the head.”

Deputies were called out to Zoltan Ambrus’ home in the 4600 block of Pond Ridge Drive around 4:45 a.m. April 10. Deputies say they found Zoltan’s body inside in the garage. Tamas Ambrus was found deceased in an area between the dining room and family room.
Further information about the case is not being released at this time. Deputies have not said which of the two men is believed to have fired the shots.
