Garage Of Riverview Home Catches Fire, Blaze Kept From House
Four adults and two children are being assisted by the Red Cross after a fire tore through the garage of a Riverview home Tuesday morning.
RIVERVIEW, FL — Four adults and two children are being assisted by the Red Cross after a fire tore through the garage of a Riverview home Tuesday morning.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue was called to a home at 12908 Raysbrook Drive in Riverview just after 7 a.m.
Engine 44 was first on the scene, confirming smoke and flames coming from the garage of the single-story house. Firefighters began battling the blaze, knocking it down in about 10 minutes.

Additional crews assisted with firefighting operations, preventing the fire from spreading to the rest of the house.
There were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.
