Gibsonton Man Killed In Crash On US 41, Symmes Road
The 68-year-old passenger in a car involved in the crash died at the scene.
GIBSONTON, FL — A 68-year-old Gibsonton man was killed Monday in a crash on U.S. 41 and Symmes Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:08 p.m. a car driven by a 46-year-old Riverview man was headed north on U.S. 41 and a pickup truck driven by a 58-year-old Ruskin man was traveling south when the Riverview man turned left onto Symmes Road into the path of the pickup truck.
As a result, the truck struck the passenger side of the car, killing the passenger.

The Riverview man suffered minor injuries.
