Golf Tournament, Bull Ride to Honor Riverview Teen
The second annual golf event will take place in honor of Brooke Ann Coats March 26. A benefit bull ride is scheduled for Saturday evening.

When the Coats family had a golf benefit last year in Temple Terrace to help defray the cost of 16-year-old Brooke Ann Coats’ funeral expenses, they said they wanted to make the event an annual affair.
Now, they’re planning another golf benefit for March 26 in memory of the amateur bull rider and Riverview High School student who lost her life after being thrown from and kicked by a bull Feb. 18, 2011, during a rodeo at Crosstown Rodeo Arena in Tampa.
The tournament will take place at the at 1 p.m., said Brooke Ann Coats’ uncle, Mark Coats, of Temple Terrace.
