LED Christmas Tree Lights Catch 2-Story Apollo Beach Home On Fire

All residents of a two-story home in Apollo Beach were safely evacuated after an LED Christmas tree caught fire Friday.

APOLLO BEACH, FL — All residents of a two-story home in Apollo Beach were safely evacuated after an LED Christmas tree caught fire Friday.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 6400 block of Grenada Island Avenue at 11:19 p.m. and arrived to find flames showing on the second story of the home.

Firefighters began an aggressive interior attack and successfully knocked the fire down, limiting it to one room. There were no injuries.
