Missing Riverview Teens Found in Georgia Motel
The 14- and 16-year-old girls were at a Travelodge with older teens, also from Riverview.

Two teenage girls reported missing from Riverview were located this week by police in Athens-Clarke, Ga., according to the Athens Banner Herald.
Under the headline "Missing Florida Teens Found Partying at Athens Motel," the reporter notes that the girls were transferred to the Gainesville Regional Youth Center.
The girls, along with two older teenage boys from Riverview, face charges for giving false information to police and for possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol.

Georgia police initally were tipped off to the whereabouts of the missing teenage girls, when they received a phone call this week from the mother of an Athens teenager, according to the article.
She phoned police to say that “a few juveniles who might be missing from Florida” were staying at the Travelodge on West Broad Street. She said that her son had been hanging out with the Florida teens.

According to the article, the girls, ages 14 and 16, "had been partying with older teens, also from Florida."
When officer arrived, they found a 4-foot-tall "smoking device" and empty bottles of alcohol in the room.
Police were able to identify 18-year-old James George Ventola from Riverview, who "has a history of recent arrests in Florida" that include family violence battery, drug possession and battery on a police officer.
A second teenager was identified as Cody Gene Stanton, 17, also of Riverview.
Police said the four at first gave false information about their origins and ages.
The girls later confirmed they were teens reported missing from Riverview, Florida, after detectives took them to the police station for further interviews, according to the article.
