Ruskin Woman Killed In Crash On U.S. 41

RUSKIN, FL — A 26-year-old Ruskin woman died after attempting to turn her car into a driveway off U.S. 41 and getting struck by a pickup truck.

The woman was traveling south on U.S. 41 north of Morgan Farm Road Saturday at 4:37 a.m. when she turned into the path of a pickup truck driven by a 48-year-old Palmetto man while attempting to enter a private driveway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the car flipped over and the woman died at the scene.

The Palmetto man suffered serious injuries.
