The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project is a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served the United States.

BRANDON, FL — A local Air Force veteran who served in the military for 63 years received a free roof replacement from the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project on Thursday.

Jerry Wooten was displaced from his home for several days after his roof was ruined by a fire. Southeastern Roofing & Construction, an Owens Corning Platinum Roofing Contractor, answered the call to help the veteran who served from 1956 to 2019 by installing a new roof to his home located on Pine Ridge Circle.

The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project is a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them. Since the inception of this program in 2016, more than 225 military members have received new roofs.
