Bradenton Girl Reported Missing
Breaking: Bradenton Police say a 14-year-old girl has been missing for more than a month.
BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Police Department is asking for help locating a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since August.
According to the agency, Nygerria Smith left her home in the 1500 block of 18th Street East on Aug. 11 without telling her mother where she was going.
“Ms. Nygerria Smith is a habitual runaway,” the agency wrote in an email to media. The teen is also on probation and has a curfew of 6 p.m. A juvenile pickup order for violation of probation has been issued, police said.

Smith is known to hang out in Oneco. She is described as standing 5-foot-6. She weighs an estimated 220 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Smith’s whereabouts is asked to call Det. Lixa Moyett at 941-932-9309 and reference case number 2016-6807.
