Bradenton Man Charged in Capital Sexual Battery Case
Breaking: Manatee County deputies say a Bradenton man molested a 13-year-old girl on numerous occasions.
BRADENTON, FL — A 50-year-old Bradenton man faces capital sexual battery charges after Manatee County Sheriff’s deputies say he molested a young girl.
The case against Darrell B. Mills began to unfold when deputies received information about the alleged crime on Sept. 18. After looking into the case, deputies say Mills molested the 13-year-old victim on numerous occasions since 2011.
Details about the investigation were not released. Deputies charged Mills in the case Tuesday. He was being held in the Manatee County Jail without bond as of Wednesday, also facing a violation of probation charge.
