Bradenton Teen Reported Missing

Breaking: Bradenton police say the girl hasn't been seen since early August.

BRADENTON, FL — The Bradenton Police Department is asking for help locating a missing 14-year-old girl.

According to police, Jessica Sharp left her foster family’s home around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 6. She has not contacted her foster mother since leaving their home in Citrus Meadows apartments.

Sharp is described as standing 5-foot-4. She weighs and estimated 160 pounds and has brown eyes and straight, medium-length brown hair. She usually wears it in a bun, an email from police said.

Anyone who has seen Sharp or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call Det. Fredy Ordonez at 941-932-9327 and reference case No. 2016-6686. Tips may also be sent to Amanda McCauley at the Safe Children’s Coalition at 941-721-7670 or 941-737-4726.
