Emergency Sewer Repair Prompts Road Closings
The city of Bradenton has announced two upcoming closings prompted by the need to make an emergency sewer repair.
BRADENTON, FL — Motorists who travel 3rd Street West or 8th Avenue Drive West may need to find different routes for a few days. The city of Bradenton has announced emergency closings along both roads due to problems with a sewer pipe.
The closing affects the area of 3rd Street West "between 8th-9th avenues and 8th Avenue Drive West between 2nd-3rd streets," according to an email from the city.
The closings begin Wednesday and are expected to last until Monday, Aug. 22.
