Manatee Sheriff’s Office Launches Mobile App

BRADENTON, FL — Residents in the Bradenton area have a new way to reach out to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. The agency announced the launch of its brand new mobile app Thursday.

Now available for download on Apple and Android devices, the app is meant to help residents connect to the sheriff’s office to report crimes, submit tips and stay up-to-date on the latest public safety information and news, the agency said.

“It’s just another way to provide information to our residents,” explained Dave Bristow, spokesman for the sheriff’s office. “We realize how many people are on mobile devices and we want to be able to reach out to them.”
