Arrest Made in Bradenton Bank Robbery
Breaking: A Fidelity Bank branch in Bradenton was robbed Monday morning.

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest in a Monday morning bank robbery in Bradenton.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies received a call about the robbery at the 415 53rd Ave. W. Fidelity Bank branch around 10:35 a.m. Sept. 19. Witnesses told deputies a man walked into the bank and demanded money from the teller.
The man took off from the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was seen during the robbery, the sheriff’s office noted in an email to media.

On Monday afternoon, the sheriff's office announced the arrest of Herbert Jent, 32, in connection with the crime.
"Money, believed to be stolen from the bank, was recovered from Jent when he was arrested," the sheriff's office wrote.

Jent now faces a robbery charge.
