Woman Dies After Bradenton Shooting

Breaking: The woman was found outside a home on 11th Street East Sunday morning suffering from a gunshot wound.

BRADENTON, FL — A 44-year-old woman found outside a Bradenton home Sunday morning suffering from a gunshot wound has died.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies went to a home in the 5800 block of 11th Street East around 6:41 a.m. in reference to a shooting call. When they arrived, they found Earnestine M. Gardner outside on the home.

Gardner was taken to Blake Hospital in stable condition initially. Deputies later reported that she took a turn for the worse and succumbed to her injuries.

A witness told deputies an argument occurred at the home before the shooting. No suspect, however, has been named.
