Detours Set Up For Brandon Drivers For Meade Street Closure

Hillsborough County drivers will need to take detours on three roads that are closed near Brandon High School for railroad crossing repairs.

BRANDON, FL — Three Hillsborough County roads near Brandon High School will have closures this weekend while CSX repairs railroad crossings:

  • South Kingsway Road closed Wednesday between East Clay Avenue and State Road 60 until Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. Suggested detour is to take Parsons Avenue to the west. The detour will be marked, according to the county.
  • Meade Street closed Thursday from Mook Street to Victoria Street from at 6 a.m. until Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. The suggested detour is to take Lakewood Drive to the east. The detour will be marked.
  • Limona Road closed Thursday between Short Street and Victoria Street at 6 a.m. to Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. The suggested detour is to take Lakewood Drive to the west. The detour will be marked.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes and posted detours.
