A quick reminder to business owners that May 1 is the deadline to file your company’s 2012 Annual Report, a requirement for profit, non-profit, LLCs, LLPs, LPs and LLLPs.
Filing a report is imperative to retain your company’s “active” status with the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations.
“Annual reports filed after May 1 will be assessed a $400 late fee, which cannot be waived,” according to the Florida Division of Corporations’ Sunbiz Web site, which links to the online annual report filing page.
