Apply Now for Hillsborough County's 14th Annual Teenage Battle of the Bands

The application period is open for the 14th Annual Teenage Battle of the Bands contest, scheduled for Oct. 15 from noon to 11 p.m. at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds in Dover.

The price to compete is $50 per band, payable by Oct. 7.

The annual contest is hosted by the Hillsbrough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department and will take place during this year's Hillsborough County Fair, at 4810 East State Road 60 in Dover.

The competition awards free studio time to the top two winners. Band members must be between the ages 13 and 20, but only one band member can be age 20.

Last year's Battle of the Bands winner was Styx of Fire.
