Armed Robber Reportedly Returns To Same Steak 'n Shake in Brandon
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reports that the same suspect is believed to have struck the same Steak 'n Shake in Brandon over the course of five days. The first time he left empty handed; the second time, he fled with cash.

This time, he left with cash.
At least that’s the word from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, whose report today, Sept. 7, alleges that the same man is believed to have brandished a shotgun in the same Steak ‘n Shake on Brandon Boulevard over the course of five days.
That a robber would go back to the same location to rob again is not unprecedented, according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Debbie Carter.

“We’ve actually had bank robbery suspects go back to the same bank,” she said. “I don’t know why they would go back to the same place. In this guy’s case, [at Steak ‘n’ Shake], he wasn’t even successful the first time.”
The , at 1402 West Brandon Blvd., wearing a black ski mask, black sweatshirt, one white glove, one black glove, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. He was further described as 5-foot-5, 170 pounds, between the ages 18 and 21 and sporting brown eyes and a medium build.

He reportedly confronted the employees, who did not comply with his demands for money, before fleeing out the back door.
It is believed that the same robber struck again, Sept. 6 at approximately 6:05 a.m., and this time his demands from employees yielded cash that he then put in a green, drawstring bag before running away.
The armed robber in the Sept. 6 incident similarly is described as wearing a black ski mask and black sweatshirt. Further, he was sporting “white gloves similar to garden gloves, with black dots and a plastic coating in the palm area, dark pants and white sneakers,” according to the sheriff’s report.
The armed robber is further described as being a black male between the ages 18 and 26, standing 5-foot-5 and weighing 170 to 195 pounds, with a medium build.
