Arrest Made In Bell Shoals Baptist Burglary

A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a June burglary at Bell Shoals Baptist Church.

BRANDON, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 21-year-old Brandon woman in connection with a June burglary at Bell Shoals Baptist Church.

Brielle Gaskins’ arrest was announced Monday, July 24. Deputies have charged her with burglary of an occupied dwelling, petty theft and criminal mischief to a place of worship in connection with the June 25 burglary.

Authorities say Gaskins is the woman who used a brick to break out a door window at the 2102 Bell Shoals Road church on June 25. Once inside, she allegedly rummaged through a few classrooms and took several items from the church.

Gaskins was charged in the case on Sunday, jail records indicate. She was released on Monday in lieu of $9,750 bond.
