Bell Shoals Baptist Burglary Suspect Photos Released
Hillsborough County deputies need help identifying a woman who may be responsible for a break-in at a Brandon church.
BRANDON, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a woman who may be responsible for a recent burglary at Bell Shoals Baptist Church. Surveillance photos of the possible suspect were released Thursday.
According to the agency, the 2102 Bell Shoals Road church was broken into on June 25. The woman is accused of getting inside the building by breaking out a door’s glass window with a brick. Once inside, deputies say she “rummaged through several classrooms” and took a few items. One of those items is a black tote bag that has “The Bryan Family” written on it in silver. The other items taken are not known at this time.
Deputies say the woman spent about 15 minutes inside the church before leaving the way she came in. She is described as standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8. She weighs an estimated 120 to 135 pounds and has black hair with bangs and was wearing glasses. The woman is believed to be about 20 years old.
