Brandon Chick-fil-A Now Offers Delivery By Drone
In a social media statement, the Chick-fil-A at 1504 E. Brandon Blvd. said it now offers drone delivery to the Brandon and Valrico areas.
BRANDON, FL — Chick-fil-A is taking flight in the Tampa area.
In an announcement shared on Facebook earlier this week, the Chick-fil-A location at 1504 E. Brandon Blvd. said it now offers drone delivery to the Brandon and Valrico areas.
To use the new delivery option, the restaurant said customers should order on the Chick-fil-A app and select “Chick-fil-A Delivery” to have their order delivered by drone. Delivery distance is limited, the post said.

Drone delivery service is limited for now to sites within a 1.2-mile radius of the restaurant, the Tampa Bay Times reported. The service is free for a limited time.
Chick-fil-A launched the project with DroneUp, a Virginia Beach-based company that also began service with a Tampa Walmart store a year ago, the newspaper said.

The restaurant said online that it soon expects to expand the drone delivery to within 2 miles.
Currently, Chick-fil-A's Brandon location is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
