The sheriff's office initially reported that the Saturn was driven by Amy Celeste Rumball, 39, of Brandon. But the sheriff's office reported Saturday afternoon that detectives learned through additional interviews that the driver of the 2008 Saturn Vue was Chavez.

Chavez was charged with failing to yield to the right of way of the motorcyclist and driving on a suspended driver's license with knowledge. The owner of the Saturn, Rumball, was charged with allowing someone to drive her vehicle who she knew was an unlicensed driver.
