Brandon Subway Robbed at Gunpoint
Hillsborough County deputies are trying to identify a man accused of holding up a Brandon Subway Wednesday afternoon.
BRANDON, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying a man its deputies say held up a Brandon Subway restaurant at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.
According to the sheriff’s office, a man walked into the 104 W. Bandon Blvd. restaurant and ordered a sandwich around 4 p.m. Oct. 26. When the cashier tried to ring up his order, the man is accused of pulling out a black semi-automatic handgun, pointing it at her and making her open the register.
Deputies say the man took cash from the drawer and then took off in a black, newer model pickup truck.

The suspect is described as being a white male in his 30s to 40s. He stands about 5-foot-10 and weigh an estimated 240 pounds. He is balding, has a goatee and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.
Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-TIPS. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information in the case.
