Brandon Woman, 22, Dies Days After Crash
A 22-year-old Brandon woman involved in a single-car crash on May 6 has died.
BRANDON, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol reports a 22-year-old Brandon woman who was involved in a May 6 crash on State Road 60 has died from here injuries.
According to the patrol, Sheila Dias died on May 11.
Dias was traveling east on State Road 60 around 2:45 a.m. May 6 in a Nissan Sentra. Troopers say as she approached Interstate 75 in the outside lane, she lost control of the Nissan. Dias’ car struck an overpass bridge support pole, an agency report said.

Further details about the crash are not yet available. Troopers did note on the report that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
