Powder In Letter Prompted Courthouse Evacuation
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating the Wednesday afternoon discovery of a letter containing a powdery substance that was sent to the courthouse annex. The find prompted workers to quarantine themselves in a room while the building's first floor was evacuated.

Craigslist Trap Snares Accused Thieves
Two South Florida men face grand theft charges after Sarasota County deputies say a victim laid a trap on Craigslist to catch them red handed with the stolen goods. The items in question belong to Apex Tree and Landscape in Sarasota and happen to have a value of about $53,000, authorities said.
As the Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate a Monday hit-and-run that resulted in injuries to two boys on bicycles, the agency has announced a few new turns in the case. The gold 1998 Ford Expedition seen on surveillance video careening through a neighborhood, leaving a swath of damage in its wake, had been reported stolen by its owner.
