'Dash & Splash' Set for Races, Family Fun Sept. 9 at BSAC
The Dash & Splash family fun day and adult and kid swimming races is scheduled to kick off 7:30 a.m. at the Brandon Sports & Aquatic Center in Brandon.
The Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center is set to kick off its first "Dash & Splash" aquathon today, Sept. 9, at 7:30 a.m.
Swimmers of all levels are invited to participate, with all entrants receiving a medal and a T-shirt. Following the adult and kid swims the center will host a post-race party featuring family activities and food.

Costs are as follows:

- $45 for the adult 2-mile, 1-mile and quarter-mile races.
- $40 for the kid (ages 11-14) 1-mile and 200-yard swim.
- $40 for the kid (ages 7-10) half-mile and 100-yard swim.
