Kakigori (also known as zenzai) is Japanese-American-style shaved ice. It’s similar to Hawaiian, Latin and Asian shaved ice, but with more exotic toppings.
Hand poured purified water is used to create large blocks of ice, which is “shaved” to create a fine snow-like texture. The syrups range from house special green tea to Ninja Ice's signature orchid vanilla cream.
Ninja Ice uses 100 percent pure cane sugar.
Toppings include imported traditional anko (adzuki red bean paste), mini-mochi balls, orchid vanilla cream syrup with an edible orchid, real fruit, chocolate sprinkles, shredded coconut, Botan orange rice candy and chocolate-covered espresso beans.
Ninja Ice also serves Japanese crepes rolled into a cone shape filled with gourmet ice cream and toppings.
