Details Emerge in Plant City Stabbing Death
Plant City Police are looking for a gray Nissan Quest minivan in connection with a Monday fatal stabbing.

PLANT CITY, FL — The Plant City Police Department is asking residents in the Tampa Bay area to keep a watch out for a gray 2007 Nissan Quest minivan. According to the agency, the man believed responsible for killing a woman on Monday may be driving the vehicle.
The crime in question unfolded Nov. 28 shortly after 1 p.m. Police say they were called out to a home in the 2700 block of Sammonds Road at that time. When they arrived, they found Rocio Becerra, 31, dead from “multiple stab wounds to her upper torso.”
Police say Becerra was attacked by an unknown Hispanic man. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

During the course of the investigation, officers learned Becerra’s van was taken by the man believed responsible for the stabbing. The van has the Florida tag number of 338TZW on it. No information about the suspect is available at this time.
